| Article XIX has been a band in the making since late 2007. With the aspirations of being something new for this generation, in yet having the musical taste of the 70s in order to relate to the crowd on the same level that music did in it's prime. With a mix of influences from the classic rock and roll roots to the new age music on the scene today they balance the ties with outstanding taste and charisma.
The members (Daniel "Yukon" Roberts- Vocals/Guitar, Zach "Bionic" Myers- Drums/BGVS) have had this band on the tips of their fingers for more than 10 years growing up in the country lands of Texas. Finally able to bring the truth and the passion of their hearts into a project they say is "the one". "This band isn't about just getting famous and making money" says Zach Myers "Its about reaching people and letting them know what's happening in the crazy world." With strong desire to change the world through the music they write about politics, love, war, peace, revolution, and change. Singer Yukon puts simply in saying "Its your classic riff rock... its groovy and fun... with lyrics that actually mean something which you don't hear much anymore." With an all encompassing live show they bring multiple elements to take their crowds on a "journey" to be remembered. "This changed our life, let it change yours" - XIX ".. |
