The wonderful films of David Lynch have moved and inspired me for countless years. As for music, some of my influences are Swans, Jarboe, Diamanda Galas, Leonard Cohen, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, Nico, PJ Harvey, Patti Smith, Peter Gabriel, Sinéad O’Connor, Joy Division, Brian Eno, John Cale, Lisa Germano, Sonic Youth, Laurie Anderson, Dead Can Dance, Pink Floyd (just to mention a few!). And as for books, some notable authors are Georges Bataille, J.G. Ballard, Anais Nin, Sylvia Plath, Edgar Allen Poe, Charles Baudelaire, Phillip K. Dick, Frank Herbert, J.R.R.
