| Mary Economou was born in Athens by a French mother and a Greek father. She started studying the violin and the piano and continued with Classical/Opera singing (soprano). In 2002 she joined the Athens Choir, the Athens University Choir as well as the NTUA Choir. She participated in numerous concerts and performances [Herod Atticus Theatre - May 2004 - Concert with the ''Orchestra of Colours'', Herod Atticus Theatre - May 2004 - Italian production Opera ''Pinocchio'', Megaron Mousikis Athinwn (Athens Concert Hall) - April 2005 - Concert with the Athens Orchestra, Herod Atticus Theatre - October 2007 - ''Se Byzantina Ixni - Mikis Theodorakis''] In 2006 Mary Economou joined, as a musical performer, the show ''The magic of the musicals'' (a highlight of the best Broadway and West End musicals) and participated in performances at Beakeio Theater (Pireas), Zygos (Plaka), Akropol Theater (Athens) etc. |
