| My name is Ramiro Martinez. I'm here to talk about the process of making music! I love MUSIC!. I was born in Zacatecas, a Central State in Mexico and spent most of my life in Guadalajara. Ten years ago I moved to Tijuana and later to Oceanside, CA.
Music has always been part of my life. When I was in my teens I learned to play guitar and started to write my own songs. I recorded my songs on tape. I took some Music Theory and Guitar lessons at The University of Guadalajara and earned a Teaching Degree. In my twenties I got married and wrote more songs. I also played Guitar, Electric bass and keyboards with a TOP 40 Band. We played at parties, weddings, bars and so on. In the 90's I played the roles of roadie, agent and manager. In Tijuana I did record a Gospel project (I played electric bass with a Church Choir).
Here in Oceanside I'm earning a Digital Audio Production Certificate at Miracosta College!
Right now I'm recording my songs for a Demo in a small home recording studio. My goal is to get my songs recorded by other people. I would want to be a SONGWRITER!
