| The New simpletons is more than just a phrase lifted from the book Coercion by Douglas Rushkoff. In 2006 Switchblixer and Jared Scare held live post primitive instrumentation sessions using live microphones, styrofoam, and a brass plate as sound sources.In 2009 a new process of composition was added to the collaboration by sequencing complex patterns and rhythms built from previous live jams as well as new sound source acquisitions from plates n' foam.
