| NEW CD "In His Presence" Available NOW! This new CD is full of songs inspired by Hobson's deep faith in the Lord... Hobson BIO:Texas Singer/Songwriter Hobson Smith is a native Texan! He was born in Brenham, raised in small towns across the state, and now resides in the Houston area. He discovered his gift for songwriting and entertaining while he was still a teenager and shortly after college, began his career in the music business! Hobson has entertained in venues across the United States and has shared the stage with many celebrities including Jerry Lee Lewis and David Allen Coe. He has been a guest on The Nashville Network (TNN) and has had singles top the European Charts and Internet Music Charts. His music is being played on radio stations throughout Texas as well as internet stations worldwide. Hobson may also be heard over the airwaves playing live acoustic music, participating in benefit shows, and doing interviews around the state. Songwriting is especially close to Hobson's soul and many emotions are expressed in his wide variety of songs. Most often he writes alone, but he has collaborated on several projects with songwriters CMA, Grammy Award winning Wayne Carson, Warren Haynes, Bobby Boyd, C.L. Milburn, the up and coming Dwayne Weinheimer, and several other great writers. Two new CD's are in the works and are planned for release early next year.
