| I grew up in the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina and continue to reside in my home town of Waynesville. After graduating from WCU, I moved briefly to Mount Holly, NC and worked in Gaston County, but missed WNC and returned to Waynesville. My husband, Will, and I have been together for 13 years now and have a beautiful daughter, Chloe Elizabeth.Currently, I work as the preschool coordinator for Haywood County School Exceptional Children's program and as a school psychologist at Jonathan Valley Elementary School. The majority of my day is spent coordinating evaluations and preschool-based services for children ages 3-5 and evaluating school-age students to determine eligibility for direct special education services. Working with special needs students is my passion. I am especially interested in autism and ADHD.In my free time, I am learning to be a soccer mom, spending one afternoon a week at practice and Saturdays at games. It has been so much fun and Chloe is becoming a great soccer player!!
