| das Altophonium QUARTETT wurde im herbst 2004 an der hochschule der künste in bern gegründet. die ungewöhnliche kombination von zwei es-hörnern und zwei euphonien ermöglicht es den vier musikern des Altophonium QUARTETTs eine optimale verschmelzung der einzelnen klänge ihrer instrumente herbeizuführen. engagiertes spielen und die ansteckende spielfreude des ensembles garantieren unterhaltsame und faszinierende blechbläsermusik und machen den konzertbesuch zum erlebnis. Altophonium QUARTETT came to life in fall 2004 at the hochschule der künste in berne, switzerland. the unusual combination of two alto-horns and two euphoniums enables the musicans to create the fascinating rich sound for which they are well-known.
