| I'm a reformed criminal. Gave that up since my teens. Dad still tells me, "son, you got a problem with authority!" He can die for all I care. I work as a contractor doing mostly paint and tile work. Its honest work and it provides for my needs and of course, my "doobige." Has there ever been anything else to do in this rathole town? I suspect my fate that awaits me is the same as my grandfather's fate, and its fast approaching. To live and die in Shermer, I wonder why in Shermer? This ain't no "Paradise City." Books:I like to tear up books, especially literature. Moliere's writings have got to go. I don't read unless its the face of a concert ticket, a construction work order, or legal tender. Oprah's book club isn't my thing and it shouldn't be yours. Why people waste their time reading garbage like the Da Vinci Code or Angela's frickin' Ashes puzzles me to no end. Is that cardboard "self-improvement" or just being socially hip? I have no part of it. Instead you load up, ya party. |
