| Now available, Edmonton-based electronic shaman Holzkopf's "Pure Bliss, No Earth" 12" EP. Two tracks totaling 20 minutes of abstract dronescapes and gospel deconstruction, less beat-oriented than his other recent releases. Unsettling, uneasy, unpredictable and eerily beautiful.
Limited to 500 copies, 200 on translucent blue/sky-blue splatter, 200 on half and half yellow/sky blue, and 100 on translucent blue/yellow marble. $10 plus shipping. Our inaugural release is a split 7" between two of the prairies' finest death/grind acts, Winnipeg's PUTRESCENCE (members of Swallowing Shit/Head Hits Concrete/Seven Plagues) and Calgary's I DIE SCREAMING (members of Maniac Sumo Cunt/Open Eyes Elysia/Urheimat/Noise Convulsion/Corta Vita/Pinetree Line). Putrescence deliver "Gutted, Coated With Malignancy And Re-Emboweled,"a bongwater-scented puddle of gore clocking in at exactly 4:20, while on the flip, IDS rip through two slices of blistering grind brainmelt in the form of "Let Your Blood Soil The Earth" and "Sphere Of Influenza". Limited to 500 copies, 300 on translucent green/white haze, 200 on mint green/black marble. $5 plus shipping. |
