THE DETONATES sind vier junge Mädels, die sich vor einem Jahr noch nicht einmal annähernd kannten. Gecastet wie die Spice Girls von heute, könnte man ihren musikalischen Effekt allerdings eher mit der Dynamik der Runaways vergleichen. Was sich hier durch reinen Zufall zusammengefunden hat, ergibt kulturell, sowie musikalisch eine höchstexplosive Mischung! Sie selbst nennen ihre Musik „Bitch-Rock“ , welcher sich wohl aus teils Blues und teils verträumten Indie Gitarrenriffs, fetten Rock n’ Roll Beats und einer röhrig- rauchigen Soulstimme ergibt. Das Resultat? Klingt wie The Donnas meet The Long Blondes meet Amy Winehouse... oder so ähnlich! ------------------------------------------------------------ -------------------- THE DETONATES is a so-called "Bitch Rock" band from Koblenz, Germany, whose four members have been casted like the Spice Girls once. The girls were aligned like The Runaways, although singer Trang Pham (21), guitarist Mona Mour (17), bassist Cheryl Roy (19) and drummer Mary Celest (18) didn't know each other. If you can’t find them in their practise room, they’re either playing pussyball, drinking coffee or listening to some Britney Spears. SONGS WILL BE ADDED SOON ! .. Everyday Life of... (unplugged) ..
