About Me
I am a Surgical Technologist and work at St. Joseph Hospital . I love my job, but my dream job would be to be in the ministry full time. At one time, I was the head Chaplain at the Orange County Rescue Mission's men's shelter. But the Lord closed the doors there and has placed me where I am at now. Really, ministry is a calling and we all have been called to the "ministry of reconciliation." So I am in full time ministry, just not in a house of worship. "Now all these things are from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation, namely, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and He has committed to us the word of reconciliation. Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ , as though God were making an appeal through us; we beg you on behalf of Christ , be reconciled to God. He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him." 2 Cor. 5:18-21 I know that God directs my steps. So, I walk in faith, believing that the Lord is in control of the big picture of my life and that all that happens is for a reason. I put my trust in Him and I know that He will do the rest, for He is my Lord, Shepherd and Savior. I am striving to walk with Him daily and my goal is to hear "well done good and faithful servant." How about you? Do you know that God directs your steps? Do you believe in Jesus ? Have you asked Jesus Christ to come into your life? The simple act of sincerely asking Jesus to come into your life makes your relationship with God secure. You've embarked on a life of adventure with an all-loving, all-powerful God. And He will direct your steps. The writer of Proverbs says, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths." If we exercise trust and acknowledge Him in every area of our lives, His promise is that he will guide us. We don't have to be aware that that is happening. Often it will only be as we look back that we see He has been guiding us. If you've accepted Jesus , your relationship with God is secure. You are His child. He forgave your sins and gave you a new and eternal life. He will never leave you. When facing doubts about your decision, rely on these and other truths in the Bible, not on your feelings. Everyone that makes the decision to accept Jesus as their Savior has doubts. It's natural to have doubts. There are days that you will not "feel" like a Christian. There are many things affect our feelings—friends, health, weather, sin, and more. Don't gauge your relationship with Jesus by your emotions, which may change. Instead, trust in God and the truths set out in the Bible, which don't change. When we "Sin" we can have doubts about our relationship with God. When a driver cuts you off, a classmate insults you, your spouse forgets to pick you up, and suddenly you're swearing and yelling. Or maybe you find yourself tempted by other actions and attitudes, like drunkenness, promiscuity, gossip, or bitterness that take your focus off God. These sorts of attitudes and actions are called "sin." The word "sin" carries the idea of falling short of a target or missing the mark. When we do what we want instead of what God wants, we sin. When old habits and attitudes creep up, don't get discouraged. You're still God's child. Sin, however, disrupts our closeness to God, our communication with Him. It keeps us from experiencing His love. And we all sin, even as Christians. That's why we all need God's forgiveness each day. When Jesus died for us, He made it possible for us to have a relationship with God. His death also allows us to claim God's forgiveness daily. "You were dead because of your sins and because your sinful nature was not yet cut away. Then God made you alive with Christ . He forgave all our sins. He cancelled the record that contained the charges against us. He took it and destroyed it by nailing it to Christ's cross." (Colossians 2:13-14) When this passage was written, a "record" was an itemized list of crimes for which a prisoner had been convicted. It was nailed to the prison door. Once the sentence was served or the debt paid, the prisoner could use the cancelled record as proof he could never be tried for those crimes again. Similarly, when we trust in Jesus' payment for our sins, we can never be tried for them again. We have a full pardon from God. "He has not punished us for all our sins, nor does he deal with us as we deserve. For his unfailing love toward those who fear him is as great as the height of the heavens above the earth. He has removed our rebellious acts as far away from us as the east is from the west." (Psalm 103:10-12) Although you are totally forgiven, you still need to deal with your sins day-to-day to keep a close relationship with God. Does sin separate you from God? "No"! But you feel that you are because that is one of the consequences of sin. What really happens is, not that God has moved away from you, but that you have moved away from God by your actions. That is why you need to confess your sin. Confession means: 1. Agreeing with God that you have sinned 2. Thanking God for having already forgiven you 3. Trusting God to change your wrong attitudes and actions Instead of feeling separated, turn away from your sin and back to God. This is called "repentance." Repentance allows you to experience God's love and forgiveness. It restores you to a close relationship with Him. We face choices every day. By choosing to continually confessing, repenting, and trusting in God's forgiveness, we can experience His love and grow closer to Him daily. Still haven’t found “Who” you are looking for? Maybe you are looking in all the wrong places? Since God created us for love, we are born with a great expectation to be loved and accepted. It is a scientific fact that babies who are not shown loving touch in the first few months of their lives can be physically and emotionally affected for the rest of their lives. Unfortunately our parents could only express the love that they had first received from their parents. As a result, many of us have grown up with love deficits in our hearts. While we may know we are missing something, we might not be able to identify the emptiness that resides in the deepest part of our being. All we know is that we need to try and fill the emptiness somehow. Some try to fill this void in relationships, others in performance and success. And others seek to dull the emptiness with addictions. No matter what we do, if we do not encounter the real thing, we will always be left with a feeling of emptiness and un-fulfillment. There is only one place where we will find the true love and acceptance that we are looking for and that is in a personal relationship with God. We were all born with a God sized “hole in our soul” that can only be filled by God Himself. Many of us have tried to fill this void with other things, but it is like putting a square peg in a round hole...it just doesn’t fit. The bible says that God is love. Pure love. And He wants to lavish His love on you. He is not looking for more servants to add to His Kingdom but more children to fill His house. He wants to be in relationship with you, not because you deserve it but just because He made you, and is “head over heels” in love with you. It is my hope that after visiting my website, you might have a better understanding of His heart for you. I truly hope you find “Who” you really are looking for…“Delight yourself in the LORD, and He shall give you the desires of your heart. Your parents may not have planned you, but God did. He was not at all surprised by your birth. In fact, he expected it. Long before you were conceived by your parents, you were conceived in the mind of God. It is not fate, nor chance, nor luck, nor coincidence that you are breathing at this very moment. You are alive because God wanted to create you! The Bible says, The LORD will fulfill his purpose for me (Psalm 138:8a NIV). God prescribed every single detail of your body. He deliberately chose your race, the color of you skin, your hair, and every other feature. He custom-made your body just the way he wanted it. He also determined the natural talents you would possess and the uniqueness of your personality. The Bible says, You know me inside and out, you know every bone in my body; You know exactly how I was made, bit by bit, how I was sculpted from nothing into something (Psalm 139:15 Msg). Because God made you for a reason, he also decided when you would be born and how long you would live. He planned the days of your life in advance, choosing the exact time of your birth and death. The Bible says, You saw me before I was born and scheduled each day of my life before I began to breathe. Every day was recorded in your Book! (Psalm 139:16 LB). God also planned where you'd be born and where you'd live for his purpose. Your race and nationality are no accident. God left no detail to chance. He planned it all for his purpose. The Bible says, From one man he made every nation and he determined the times set for them and the exact places where they should live (Acts 17:26 NIV). Nothing in your life is arbitrary. Its all for a purpose. Most amazing, God decided how you would be born. Regardless of the circumstances of your birth or who your parents are, God had a plan in creating you. It doesn't matter whether your parents were good, bad, or indifferent. God knew that those two individuals possessed exactly the right genetic makeup to create the custom you he had in mind. They had the DNA God wanted to make you. While there are illegitimate parents, there are no illegitimate children. Many children are unplanned by their parents, but they are not unplanned by God. Gods purpose took into account human error, and even sin. God never does anything accidentally, and he never makes mistakes. He has a reason for everything he creates. Every plant and every animal was planned by God, and every person was designed with a purpose in mind. Gods motive for creating you was his love. The Bible says, Long before he laid down earth's foundations, he had us in mind, had settled on us as the focus of his love (Ephesians 1:4a MSG). God was thinking of you even before he made the world. In fact, thats why he created it! God designed this planets environment just so we could live in it. We are the focus of his love and the most valuable of all his creation. The Bible says, God decided to give us life through the word of truth so we might be the most important of all the things he made (James 1:18 NCV). This is how much God loves and values you! God is not haphazard; he planned it all with great precision. The more physicists, biologists, and other scientists learn about the universe, the better we understand how it is uniquely suited for our existence, custom-made with the exact specifications that make human life possible. Dr. Michael Denton, senior research fellow in human molecular genetics at the University of Otago in New Zealand, has concluded, All the evidence available in the biological sciences supports the core proposition that the cosmos is a specially designed whole with life and mankind as its fundamental goal and purpose, a whole in which all facets of reality have their meaning and explanation in this central fact. (Michael Denton, Natures Destiny: How the Laws of Biology Reveal Purpose in the Universe, New York: Free Press, 1998, p. 389.) The Bible said the same thing thousands of years earlier: God formed the earth. He did not create it to be empty but formed it to be inhabited (Isaiah 45:18 GW). Why did God do all this? Why did he bother to go to all the trouble of creating a universe for us? Because he is a God of love. This kind of love is difficult to fathom, but its fundamentally reliable. You were created as a special object of Gods love! God made you so he could love you. This is a truth to build your life on. The Bible tells us, God is love. (1 John 4:8)It doesn't say God has love. He is love! Love is the essence of Gods character. There is perfect love in the fellowship of the Trinity, so God didn't need to create you. He wasn't lonely. But he wanted to make you in order to express his love. God says, I have carried you since you were born; I have taken care of you from your birth. Even when you are old, I will be the same. Even when your hair has turned gray, I will take care of you. I made you and will take care of you (Isaiah 46:3-4 NCV). If there was no God, we would all be accidents, the result of astronomical random chance in the universe. You could stop reading this article, because life would have no purpose or meaning or significance. There would be no right or wrong, and no hope beyond your brief years on earth. But there is a God who made you for a reason, and your life has profound meaning! We discover that meaning and purpose only when we make God the reference point of our lives. The Message paraphrase of Romans 12:3 says, The only accurate way to understand ourselves is by what God is and by what he does for us.
I'd like to meet: Charity Sanoy Charity is first, a servant of the living God, called by Him to be a minister of song to draw people closer to Him. When Charity was still in the womb, her mom dedicated her to the Lord, saying, “Lord, this baby is yours. Do whatever you want with this baby.” From then on, the Lord’s hand upon her life was evident. This multi-talented young performer is a bundle of energy, and enthusiasm, – all those who watch her work are constantly amazed by her abilities and high sense of professionalism. Charity is the singing voice of Princess Kiara (Simba’s daughter). She sang “We are One” with Simba which is the theme song in the Lion King’s video sequel “Simba’s Pride”. Charity has found God’s wisdom in His Word that is far more precious than silver, gold, and rubies and all the things in this world one can desire. (Proverbs 3). Without Jesus , she is nothing and with Him, she has everything she needs. My Favorite Friends ~ Below are some of my favorite friends on MySpace. I have more than these that I consider my "favorite friends." But I cannot place them all right here, but you can see them in my friend's pages. You might notice that some of my friends are not Christians. And you may think, "How can two walk together unless they agree?" "What fellowship is there between light and darkness?" My Lord ate and drank with sinners (Matt 9:10 ). And the great apostle Paul became all things to all people so that he could win the more for Christ ( 1 Corinthians 9.2) . And I, like Paul , want to reach the lost for Christ . At the same time, I want to encourage, edify, and comfort my brothers and sisters in Christ.
