| the king sofas formed when molten lava from the earths core exploded through the surface of the earth, and splashed over three ancient stone statues. the intense heat of the lava disintegrated the stone, releasing the contents that had been encased for centuries, creating three lifeforms with superhuman powers and good looks to boot. the three creatures faced one another, each standing on the point of a glowing triangle, eaten away from the crust of the earth by the molten lava. they raised their arms to the center of the triangle, fingertips inches away from one another. the first creature spoke: "the power of three," the second continued, "will set us free," followed by an incomprehensible wail by the third. the three united, forming the king sofas.
