| Video de la semana ZOÉ : Deja TE Conecto ( en vivo ) Bio {español} A mitad de los 90’s los integrantes de Zoé sabían el desafío que los esperaba cuando decidieron crear música gratificante y poco común. En ese entonces, los músicos entendían la problemática: ¿Cómo hacerte conocido sin una escena en donde te puedas desarrollar, y cómo crear una escena si eres desconocido? Zoé tomó control de la situación, consiguiendo shows y promoviéndose ellos mismos, también entregando demos a toda la gente de la industria que les diera la oportunidad de ser escuchados.Después de grabar su primer material, Zoé conocen al productor inglés Phil Vinall (Placebo, Elastica, Pulp, Gene), quien estaba encantando con la música de este grupo desconocido y aceptó mezclar este primer disco, homónimo.Su segundo álbum, Rocanlover, salió en Noviembre del 2003, yendo de lo acústico a lo electrónico, empalmando una amplia variedad de expresiones y de momentos sonoros que son sutiles por un minuto y explosivos el siguiente.Zoé inició su gira más grande hasta ese momento tocando en Estados Unidos por primera vez, en marzo del 2004, en el South by Southwest en Austin, Texas. En total tocaron en 60 ciudades en Estados Unidos y México.En una sorpresiva y estratégica decisión, Zoé, decidió regresar a sus bases, ignorando los contratos lucrativos, finalmente decidiendo hacer un pacto con la disquera independiente mexicana Noiselab. Con esta, sacaron el EP The Room, que se convirtió en su primer disco de oro y que contenía el exitoso sencillo “Dead”.En este álbum, Zoé redefine la universalidad en un viaje astral, que lleva al escucha a una eterna selección de conceptos, emociones y sentimientos. Una selección que gira alrededor de los temas recurrentes del grupo: paz, amor, muerte, existencia, tecnología, infinidad...Zoé ha logrado cautivar a la escena latina alternativa. Han tocado en los festivales más importantes de dicha escena como el Vive Latino y el Creamfields, todo el tiempo, ganando fieles fans y la admiración de los críticos.Una de las bandas más brillantes del rock en español, Zoé nos recuerda que la manera más gratificante de crear artísticamente y conectar es haciendo arte en el que crees y que ansíes compartir con el mundo.
