About Me

On April 5 2007, singer-songwriter TV Smith played a special gig at London's historic 1oo Club. The gig was to mark 30 years since his iconic punk band The Adverts released their classic first single One Chord Wonders and played their first gigs at the Roxy.
Backed by Spanish punks Los Quattro (renamed The Bored Teenagers for the occasion), Smith performed The Adverts' blistering cult debut LP Crossing the Red Sea live and loud in its entirety for the first time since 1977.
That night's exhilarating show - performed before a sell-out crowd - is captured on this DVD in full and features some of the most literate and exciting songwriting produced by punk's glorious first wave.
The DVD also features an acoustic solo performance given by TV Smith at the Bull and Gate at he end of 2007 (18mins) and an interview with Los Quattro bassist Jonathan Vidal recorded the day of the gig (10 mins).
UK, 2007, 54 mins + extras, colour, region 0
Distributed by WDF Productions.
Produced by Andy Kelleher and Jamie Palmer for WDF
Productions and Malcontent Pictures.
Directed by Jamie Palmer.
