My name is Christine but I usually go by Chrissy. I’m married and the proud parent of a teenage son and daughter who are my pride and joy...they're my world. I have a big Italian family who are first and foremost in my life...my top friends are family whom I love dearly. I truly believe “age is just a number” and you’re as old as you feel in mind, body and spirit. "Age is an issue of mind over matter, if you don't mind it doesn't matter" ~ Mark Twain. This is why I choose to be mature and serious when necessary and immature and carefree at all other times...it's a good balance and is my "fountain of youth." I'm young at heart and will grow old but will never grow up, compassionate and would do anything (within reason) for anyone, non-judgmental of others and don’t throw rocks at glass houses, appreciate each and every day (both good and bad) as life is a precious gift not a guarantee and shouldn't be taken for granted. I'm a vegetarian and like to workout, laugh and live as drama free as possible by not sweating the small stuff, shopaholic-coffeeholic, dress in designer clothes as well as old comfortable sweats, shop at upscale boutiques as well as flea markets, love all seasons but mostly summer, walks on the beach and falling asleep to the sounds of the ocean, love to travel (Italy with my beloved and dearly missed grandparents, California coastline, Napa, rafting the Colorado River through the Grand Canyon, horseback riding in the Arizona desert, Caribbean cruises...just a few awesome experiences), love exploring nature, spending time with family and friends, wine tasting tours and romantic country inns. We go through stages in our lifetime and I choose to live in the memories of the past, live in the moments of the present, and live in the mind's eye of the future. Well enough about me...oh yeah I'm also a high maintenance Italian diva...I put my time in over the years so I damn well deserve to be one! |
