Music:Member Since: 3/3/2008Band Website: pogmothoin.de Band Members: Das sind bei Pog Mo Thoin: Max Sommer: Vocals & Bass Mounir Machmalat: Cello & 5-String Banjo Christian Gottschalk: Gitarre Adi Busch: Drums & Percussion Und ein neues Projekt mit dem wir mittlerweile die ersten Konzerte bestritten haben: Baleadenn: In folgender Besetzung Jens Barabasch: Whistles, Flutes, Pipes und spanische Gaita, Gitarre, Bouzuki und Bodhran Thomas Schneider: Gesang, Gitarre und Mandoline Beide sind sehr gute Musiker, die bereits mit vielen Erfolgen auf ihre Laufbahn zurückblicken können. Jens Barabasch hat sich ausgiebig mit Keltischer und Renaissance Musik beschäftigt. Sein Repertoire schließt sowohl klassische Konzerte als auch die Irische, Bretonische und Galizische Musik mit ein. Über die Jahre baute er eine gute Freundschaft zu Carlos Nunez auf und performte mit ihm bereits einige Konzerte. Thomas Schneider hat bereits eine lange musikalische Karriere hinter sich; Er war als Solist und auch in mehreren Bands aktiv. So z.B. In den 70/80ger Jahren mit dem Gitarristen Steffan Stoppok und ebenfalls in dieser Zeit mit der Band "Geier Sturzflug". Zur Zeit spielt er in mehreren Bluegrass-Formationen. Influences: Das könnte länger werden^^: De Dannan, Ithzak Perlman, Bothy Band, Buena Vista Social Club, Christy Moore & Andy Irvine & Planxty, Arty McLynn, Martin Hayes & Dennis Cahill, Zupfgeigenhansel, Altan, Hannes Wader, Battlefield Band, Blazin Fiddles, Giora Feidman, Sands Family, Dubliners, Andy Statman, Chris Thile & Nickelcreek, Pete Seeger, The Klezmatics, Phil & Johnny Cunningham, Bob Dylan, Aly Bain, Paco de Lucia, Paul Brady, Tim O’Brien, Woody Guthrie, Alias Accustic Band, Marc O’Connor, Joan Baez, Victor Jara, John Spillane, David Grisman, Jerry Holland, Daniel Kempin & Dimtri Reznik, Jean Luc Ponty, Django Reinhardt & Stephan Grappelli, Nigel Kennedy, Alicia Svigals ... sind die mit denen ich häufiger mal im Duo über meinen Computer spiele (meistens als Zweitstimme mit Liegetönen^^).
