.. . WERE BACK!!! . COME WELCOME OUR NEW GUITARIST ERIC!!!!! FROM WWW.STREETANTHEMRECORDS.COM The ANTAGONIZERS originally formed in 2001 and has gone through more members than we care to mention. The only good thing is that they’ve all been friends and we are all still friends to this day. With each reincarnation of the band throughout the years, the level of talent has noticeably & steadily increased. ANTAGONIZERS have once again reached new heights and now possesses what we feel to be the strongest line-up with its current members. Founding member, Bohdan (vocals), along with Allen (guitars) whom is one of the remaining longtime members from previous line-ups have been joined by Dan (bass/backup vocals), Dominic (guitars/back-up vocals) and newest member Chuck (drums). To those who have seen an ANTAGONIZERS show, it is needless to say that the band’s live performance is a true display of alcohol-fueled power, wholehearted energy & spirit, and street punk pride. Oh, and of course there are always plenty of spontaneous shenanigans. - THE MEMBERS - BOHDAN Bohdan has been in various bands over the years to include Vibram 94 out of NYC, which had a release on Helen of Oi! Records and Sta Press Records, the latter of which he consequently owned and operated. As vocalist for Cut Throat from Bohdan’s hometown of Cleveland, the band had an album entitled Dirty Byrd that was released on Knock Out Records in Germany. ALLEN Allen has been playing guitar for 14+ years as well as teaching lessons for over 8 years. In addition to ANTAGONIZERS, you can see Allen performing in other bands from Durham, Vanguard & Blood Red River. DAN Dan has actually been pulling duty on bass in the past, and has also recently returned to pick up where he had left off throwin’ down some killer bass lines as well as backing vocals. DAVE COTY Drummer for last two years. Has played with us from Boston, nyc, dc and in between. Also plays with Blood Red River. Hes our Paid For Drummer. Kinda like a mail order whore. Brings a fresh young breath or blazing leads and energy and backups that make Ozzie think twice about howling at the moon again. ...bohdan The mix of experience between all ANTAGONIZERS members has allowed us to develop a unique sound and presence as a leading street-punk band within our local regional as well as gaining nationwide recognition. We have had the pleasure of sharing the stage with major touring acts to include Pietasters, Business,Blitz,Roger Miret, Murphys Law, Street Dogs,Casualties,Horror Pops, Vibrators and on and on.....! Some of our live material is available for download at www.emusiclive.com as well as on most major cellular networks! The new ANTAGONIZERS/Empire Falls split CD is currently available to those in attendance at live shows until supplies last. Sometime this spring the band will be heading into the studio to produce a full-length CD to be released later this year.
