All of us just know one guy and that guy knows all the others. That is basically how this project got started. Of course there is more to it; like music, the songs we love and the stories about how we got hooked on rock and roll.

Evenings are easily spend, especially the ones discussing the roots of our favourite music. This time we started with the British Invasion.

History tells us that Beatles, Stones and even Cliff Richard & The Shadows followed the traces of American icons like Elvis Presley, Little Richard, Jerry Lee Lewis and even Moon Mullican, who was one of the first white musicians to record up-tempo blues that was identical to the black rhythms.

Somebody mentioned the first fusion of African shuffles and the Irish jig on Manhattan’s famous ‘five points’. And than we took it back to England and poets were recited. But when did it start and more important: who started it?

We found him! Born in London at the end of the 18th century. Inspired by the cultures of Southern Europe and gifted with the true spirit of rock & roll. This guy lived and loved for only 46 years, but left us with a treasure… beautiful, inspiring words that dictate our tunes!
