Me and my wife created and designed this MySpace Page for the one sole purpose of encouraging our son, named, Steven A. Martin. He is 34 years of age, and, is currently diagnosed as having a combination of two different types of Muscular Dystrophy(Becker's and Limb Girdle.) The doctors said that our son might not live to see his 16th B-Day, but, WE BELIVE THE REPORT OF THE LORD, NOT, THE REPORT OF MAN!! He did walk with a gate, at one time, up until he was about in his early 20's. In his late teens, he formed his own band called Alabatross. When the other band members grew up and went their own way, he started playing bass for our current Church home, called, Temple Of Faith Ministries, founded by, Bishop T.D. Jakes. He plays piano and keyboard, and, can play acoustic, electric, and bass guitar lying flat on his lap. He is also an anointed, skilled, and talented singer, songwriter, and poet. One day he tried to get up out of bed, but he couldn't. Through his faith in JESUS, determination, and will-power to live, he beat the odds. Although, he currently is in a wheelchair, JESUS spoke to him, personally, and, told him, that, he would, RISE AGAIN!! JESUS prays, ABOVE ALL, that, we prosper, BE IN HEALTH, EVEN, as our soul prospers. WITH GOD, ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE! DARE TO BELIEVE!!!P.S.-We have our son, Steve's, MySpace pages, just ta let cha know, if ya haven't already figured it out, as da top 3 friends on our list. A-Side 45, is his non-Christian, positive life experience music, that he does in all different types, styles, and genres of music. Risen Son Music, is his page totally dedicated to Christian/Gospel music. Finally, the last one is his personal MySpace page with no music, it's just simply all about him.
