This profile was edited with profilejuice editor It all started from Cub Scouts - Mark Matt and Chris were in the same den together - Ryan and Steve were in the same den together Supin was not yet around at this point unfortuantely though - each memeber was in class with at least one other member almost every year because each member went through the Oakwood/Birchwood system - Ryan had most of the memebers of TALKPM over for sleepovers where movies were created and edited - These were the times where Mark and Kyle were always around - around sophmore year in high school those two began to drift and kyle never came back Even though the boys all knew each other from cub scouts Mark Matt and Chris hung out with Frankie Auriemma most of the time (but then Frankie found new friends from Maplewood and left the the group) meanwhile Steve and Ryan hung out with Kyle more - At the begining of 7th grade Matt was asked to join a bowling team with Chris Ryan and Steve - this was what started the merger of these two groups - through team names such as the Posionous Tomatos to the Bee-Happys to the most recent name The John Denver Experience with which the team was able to accomplish their goal of winning first place - Unfortunately the only remaining members on the team that year were Matt Chris and Steve but they were accompainied by Thomas Miranda and Rob Imparato Supin moved into the district in 8th grade - Matt Steve and Chris were in Mrs. Franzonis first period class with this new Indian fellow who happened to have a really hot mom - Steve was jealous cause he knew Supins mom had potential to take his moms place - but no the two moms found a happy medium - Ryan had many of the memebers of TALKPM over for sleepovers where movies were created and edited anyways... The group almost lost Matt when he went to Chaminade freshman year not to mention a number of arguments at eagle camp but he missed the other potential members so he went back to the public school system Mark began to hang out with the other five less and less as high school progressed but nobody took offense to it because he was still a cool guy and they added him to the name anyways when the time came one day during AP American in their senior year at Whitman Supin was rambling on and on to Matt about creating a name for a group so that and i quote "when we come home from breaks in college we can say o we are going to hang out with ___insert group name___" - supin also liked the idea because he had gotten it from certain people in the class of '04 - the two began to brainstorm even though Matt though it was an idiotic idea and Supin came up with the idea of combining the first letter from each of the friends middle names Steve Thomas Ferraro Chris Anthony Imparato Matt Laurence Barone Supin Kumar Jairith Ryan Patrick Maloney Mark Michael Burr genius plan.. genius... the end result was that the group never had to write in our away messages "out with steve ryan chris mark and matt" again but could simply write "Out with TALKPM" - it also saved time on the phone and in normal conversation The group participated in many school events together senior year with most of the memeber attending all of the events such as Senior Follies, Prom '05, Relay for Life, Mercy Benefit, VY Day, Graduation, Senior Banquet and various grad parties of friends The summer of their senior year included many late nights at Oakwood school, Jenna or Katies houses, movies, Supins house, and of course Applebees - Over the years of hanging out together Applebees became the center of life for the group - this summer was also harmed by the loss of a friends presence when Supin the K of TALKPM had to go to India for a cousins wedding An important event happened at the end of the summer also for the group - due to the fact that she was such an enthusiastic and commited member to the group Tara Lynn Darrow was added to the group - the name of the group has not and will not change but she has proved herself to be a more than loyal member Even though TALKPM has graduated from high school the group is as close as ever Steve (T) is at Gettysburg College Chris (A) is attending St. Johns University Matt (L) is up at SUNY New Paltz Supin (K) is down in George Washington University Ryan (P) will be attending Franklin & Marshall College in January Mark (M) is at Boston University Tara is at Bryant University TALKPM and Tara Darrow - Just as strong as ever... |
