The brightness was not there but I can still see the outlines and shapes of all the things that make up my world. The big box thing that has all my sound makers and little movable things that are so much fun and make me smile just seeing it there knowing they are waiting for me. There is something wet and ticklish on the bottom of my foot. Oh it’s just that fuzzy thing my mommy and daddy call “Yourdogsam” he moves so weird and makes funny “Ark!” noises that used to scare me but now just make me giggle. I wonder where my mommy and daddy are…? I can hear words and sounds coming from the room with the moving picture thing and want to go see them but the round things around my bed are high and I don’t know if I can or should try to get go over the top and find them. But they always smile at me when I see them and it makes me feel squishy and warm all over when they do that. I want to be by them right now! (I climb slowly and clumsily out of my crib telling each arm and leg and finger and toe what to do. Soon, {some how!} I am out of my bed and on my bedroom floor.) The floor is cold on my bare “Paddies” & “Footies” and I don’t like it.. So I better go find mommy and daddy. They will make me all warm again and smile at me and say things that I am starting to figure out slowly. If I do what daddy calls my “Wigglebuttcrawl” I can get to where the sounds are coming from…. There is daddy’s green sleepy chair… It feels really weird on my hands kinda like little fuzzy bumps but it helps me pull my self up and do my “Bigboystandsup”… Daddy doesn’t see me at first, then when he does he looks scared for a second and that scares me, I almost cry but then he smiles and I feel the warm inside me when he smiles. After that everything is all right again. I have my mommy and daddy and they “Loveyousoverymuch”. I get warm and sleepy again and have” Nobaddreams”. |
