Myspace Contact TablesComing to you right out of Tucson, Arizona, our music is kind of a bluesy rock style with undertones of old country, rock-a-billy and heaping spoonful of that dry desert sound otherwise known as Americana. You could also think of us as the bizarre result of one wild night involving Lucinda Williams, Patsy Cline and The Pretenders, and we probably wouldn't disagree, but we'd also tell you those weren't the only participants. Our self-titled cd, which came out in 2006, is available online at www.cdbaby.com. The album features 12 original tunes, and if you've seen us play, you will probably be familiar with most of them...in the meantime, we've got mp3's posted here on myspace, and under the open mic at www.folkalley.com in case you're curious. If you want us to play at your bar, café, or party, we do our own booking, so please email us at Spurloafers@yahoo.com. And for our local friends, we sell the album at all of our live performances as well as a few places around town: Black Rose Caffe, Bookmans (Grant Rd.), and Antigone Books. CD is now available! Band Members: ASHLEY CHAMBERLAIN, a bona fide Tucson native plays the drums, DENISE LANE, a transplant from the San Francisco Bay sings & plays rhythm guitar, BRUCE LANGEVIN, originally from Minnesota, who you may have seen playing lead guitar with us in the past, plays the bass guitar. Rejoining the band, ROB MARTIN, a Tucson native, plays electric lead guitar.
