| Kita rose from the ashes of Iowa City noiserockers SCRID. Picking up where Scrid's heavy, noise rock left off, they added an element of southern sludge to the mix. They've been punishing eardrums since mid 2001.Daredevil Magazine says: "They take the modern day punishment of Cavity, Eyehategod, and a little bit of ATP and meld it with the influence of AC/DC, Skynyrd, & Sabbath. It's crushingly heavy stuff, with riffs drenched in classic rock, blues, and sludge influence." | |
