| My favorite place, my sanctuary, my rock by the water. White Fish Dunes in Door CountyWhen I was 17 and in ballet my niece was 6 months old. I used to dance her to sleep to this song. I am a bit of everything so don’t be quick to judge me or think you have me figured out that easily. I will surprise you. Everything that has happened to me thus far in my journey through life has made me who I am today. Some lessons are pure hell, but they make you stronger. Never look back. Anything having to do with medieval or renaissance. I have an 80lb pistol crossbow I don’t get to use enough, and a breast dagger I adore. Elizabeth Bathory research and creating psychological and genetic theories based on the research is my passion. I have a soft spot for vintage things, and have been doing silk ribbon embroidery for over a decade. I love to make things, and can make just about anything. I know more about home improvement and interior decorating than I could ever use personally. I love doing machine embroidery, digitizing and design, and other textile art work. I’m rather drawn to roses, as they have a fascinating history and a language all of their own. Though I love wild flowers and prefer them to having live roses. I am good to my friends and believe in a sense of honor that is rare this day and age. Yet sometimes I do really need to be alone and may shut myself off from the outside world. I love to learn and get bored easily so I’m always trying to find the next interesting thing to do or learn. I have a B.S. in Networking and Communications Management, so yes I am also a technical nerd too. I tend to be more tomboyish most of the time. I really do try to be demure and sweet, but then I get bored…. :evil grin: And yes, I really am nocturnal. My brain does not like to function before 3pm. | |

Movies:I believe in honor like this: LegendIngmar Bergman will always be my favorite director. We can learn a lot from a few good movies.FAVORITE FILMS: Prey For Rock and Roll, Sylvia, Ingmar Bergman - Persona, Passion of Anna, Scenes From A Marriage, Cries and Whispers, Runaway Bride, Iron Jawed Angels, almost anything Angelina Jolie, Batman Begins, Hero, Legend, Mansfield Park, Matrix trilogy, Razorblade Smile, SLC Punk, Full Metal Jacket, Boondock Saints, Full Metal Jacket, The Da Vinci Code, The Last Mimsy. To be a favorite, it has to have meaning for me or I have to be able to appreciate it in some profound way. I swear I should have been a film student, because I see so much in good films. There are several foreign films I didn’t list because I can never remember the names! I also like a lot of action and Sci-Fi movies. Indiana Jones, Pitch Black/Riddick, Alien, Clear and Present Danger, Hunt for Red October, Gone in 60 Seconds, Blade, Fifth Element, Resident Evil, Troy, Conan and Red Sonja, and on and on. |

Television:I love forensics shows, CSI is my favorite. I really don't watch TV. On DVD I’ll watch Invader Zim, Le Femme Nikita, SG-1, Brak, Fawlty Towers, and Power Puff Girls. I love Home Star Runner online! |

Books:My favorite book is “The Blood Countess” by Andrei Codrescu. He is one of the best writers I’ve come across thus far. East o’ the Sun and West o’ the Moon, Dreams by Olive Schreiner, Sylvia Plath, Edgar Allen Poe, H.P. Lovecraft, Elizabeth Bathory related, short stories by CJ Cherah and Stephan King, Nietzsche, Bertrand Russell, Matt Ridley – “The Red Queen” especially, Meme Machine, Psychology/Psychiatry/and Genetics related, Dawkins. Da Vinci Code, Dawn Cook “Truth” series. I read non-fiction for fun and have way too many books. |
