My Interests |

| Just about anything art related, all our critters, hiking when we get a chance, collecting toys and antique radios. We spend much of our free time updating and loading in info for www.sourharvest.com so that all in and around LA have a good source of info to count upon.
In addition to building the good name of Sour Harvest, we've been busy getting our new gallery, thinkspace (which we co-own with LC of Cannibal Flower), spruced up and off and running. thinkspace is located at 4210 Santa Monica Blvd in the Silver Lake region of Los Angeles. In additon to art, animals take up a good part of our day, seeing as we have an amazing pooch (Camilla - Australian Cattle dog), three cats (Ziggy, Zoe and Lucy), a paraquet (Icarus), a turtle (Tim) and an active fresh water fish tank as well. No matter how crappy of a day you've had, your pets will always make you feel better about it all. Marblehead RIP Other random bits that take up our time: Numerous mags & books, horror movies, rides on the bike path, painting and putting up public art around town to make people think, collecting urban vinyl art toys, tracking down new and exciting art themed sites, bubble baths, partaking in the finer things that mother nature has given to us, beer, BBQing, quality time with friends.... ah heck, I could go on and on. Basically, art, music and good friends make our world go 'round. |

I'd like to meet:Artists and patrons of the arts (collectors, press folk, curators, gallery owners, etc). Looking for new artists to link to and profile on our site (www.sourharvest.com) in hopes of further exposing the masses to some of the amazing art that is on offer out there.We are also operating a gallery space in Los Angeles in conjunction with LC who started and curates the monthly Cannibal Flower event. Thinkspace is located at 4210 Santa Monica Blvd, right by Sunset Junction (close to La Luz De Jesus, Rosemary's Billygoat, New Image Art, Junc, Ghetto Gloss, etc. - great company). Music:My wife and I have both worked in the music industry for well over a decade each, so we could write a small novel on this topic. We have tons of CDs in our collection, plus a slew of vinyl as well. There is a lil' bit of everything in our collection. From country to metal and from bluegrass to soul - we love a lil' bit of everything and try to go out a couple times per month to local shows, though as of late, we seem to be going out less and less to concerts as the costs associated (parking, beer, cost of gas, etc) are so high as of late. |

Movies:NetFlix is god. |

Television:There is very little on TV worth actually watching these days, but of note would be Lost, Soprano's, My Name Is Earl, Miami Ink, Airport and Monster House. Those are the main shows getting the ol' TiVo treatment from us. |

Books:Juxtapoz, Art Prostitute, RE:UP, Giant Robot, The Drama, Vapors, Pencil Fight, Super 7, Clutter, Play, Art Forum, Broken Wrist Project, Beautiful Decay, Arkitip, Anthem, Tokion, Blood Wars, Graphotism, Peel Zine, almost anything published by Last Gasp and tons and tons of books on artists, music, succulents, mosaics, architecture, cats, dogs, fish, birds... oh, we got a ton of books, but magazines take up most of our free reading time as we've been so swamped with space and site lately. |
