Elypsus was formed in January of 2008 by Bill Jones and Justin Winters. These musicians have been playing together in various groups since 1998. Bill Jones has been playing guitar since 1997. He also plays bass guitar, piano, keyboards, and drums. Much of his influence and inspiration comes from his father Bill Jones, founder of the bands Acousma, Aging Sons , New Aging Sons and other various ensembles. Bill also holds Associate Degrees in Music, Music Recording, and Liberal Arts, and operates his own recording studio, Polyradeo Productions. He is working toward a Bachelor's degree in Special Education with a dual major in Music Theory. Justin Winters has been playing drums since about 1998. He played until 2002 and took a little hiatus till September 2006. He always had a passion to play drums since the age of 3. Just recently, Justin has been trying to learn how to play bass guitar just to have another instrument to play when there's a need for quiet. Justin lives with his wife Lyndsay, 1 yr. old boy Phoenix, and the new addition Daela born on July 17th. Jeremy Reinhart has had a passion for music ever since the moment he picked up his first sax in the 4th grade, and the guitar followed not far behind. Music has been a prominent part of his life ever since. While making a living as a chef, he plans on completing his degree in music. Jeremy is thoroughly excited to be the new member of Elypsus.
