Now into our 9th year, we've grown from a regional Northern California magazine to a nationally/internationally distributed publication. SLM focuses on the lifestyle of Lowriding. Our magazine highlights themes pertaining to the culture, history, education and politics surrounding this way of life. We stay in touch with what is going on in the Lowriding community and the issues that have an impact in our daily lives. Mainstream media has portrayed Lowriders to be a threat towards their community, giving many people a misconception that those who own a Lowrider are involved in criminal activities. What the media doesnt cover are the good things that people need to learn and know about the lifestyle. It takes determination, support, time and money to restore an old car.
