| Myspace Editor Get ready for some new mindwarping soulshakin' neanderthalish hits later this summer! Rawhypnols was formed in Sweden, Nkpg back in 2002. The band instantly became a fierce live act and played several big festivals in Sweden even before they had released an album. The debut record Molotov Cocktail was released in late 2004 by the Italian record label Nicotine Records. Since then the band has done several European tours and numerous shows at clubs and festivals in Italy, The Netherlands, Germany and Switzerland. Rawhypnols are now back with a vengeance with their second full-length album Thank God We’re Not Religious. Stefan Brändström (Henry Fiats Open Sore) at the Dustward in Stockholm [SWE] has produced the album. The brand new record was released in May 2007 by Nicotine Records and contains 13 tracks of blasphemy and weirdness. Right now Rawhypnols are back in the saddle after a lazy period, with a couple of great shows thou (like support to Entombed this spring 2009). Rawhypnols are working frenetic with a bunch of new killer tunes and it's gonna be harder, faster and stupider. Some of the working titles are Assfuck of the month, Captain Chemnitz and Bäckgatan.
