| This is a trio of musicians based in blues ,
funk , jazz , and rock. Having known each other
personally for up to a decade , the trio has formed a
sound like no other combining the traditional simplicity
of the the blues with the dynamic jamming aspect of group
improvisation.Infulences of this project include a wide range
of musicians such as : Jimi Hendrix Phish Buddy Guy Bootsy Collins Tinsley Ellis Along with this surge of modern blues - influenced artists , lower case blues also has it's roots in the traditional aspects of these pioneers of the blues and jazz genres : Muddy Waters Jaco Pastorious Trio Junior Wells Miles Davis Albert Collins Lower Case Blues first made an impact on the Delaware music scene at Jimmy Bones's open mike night at The Lighthouse in Lewes, De. After playing a set , the future of the groups success began with bookings at the resort town's off-season live music venues such as Sydney's and Arenea's.After gathering a strong local folllowing , the band has since moved to the Delaware beach area and have become full-time musicians. Since then , lower case has opened for such acts as: Buddy Guy Kenny Wayne Sheperd .38 Special John Corbett Dierks Bently "lcb" has obtained an exceptional amount of notoriorty through featured recordings and live performances with nationally renownded artist Johnny Neel (Allman Bros. , Gov't Mule, Willie Nelson).These sessions continue as of the date of this publication.
