| Le groupe a été formé en octobre 2007 sous l’impulsion de musiciens issus de différents groupes auvergnats comme Les Chombes ou L.F.T, ayant déjà joués avec des groupes comme Burning Heads, Uncommenmenfrommars, Inner Terrestrials… et ayant foulés quelques scènes un peu partout en Auvergne (Coopérative de Mai, festival La Pamparina etc.) et ailleurs (Caravan Sérail (Toulouse), Festival punk (Ardèche), Les Tanneries, La Niche du Chien à Plumes, La Cave à Musique (Bourgogne) etc.) Les cinq membres de Foolish n’ont qu’une seule envie: en découdre avec la scène ! Pour propulser le navire, le jeune et dynamique quintet navigue entre punk, rock’n’roll, HxC et ska influencés par des groupes comme Leftover Crack, Union Jack, Rancid, The Flatliners, Against Me, Freygolo, Dirty Fonzy et bien d' autres encore…. Bref aussi bien influencés par du Fat Wreck, par du Hellcat... Dans un esprit DIY, quelques membres de Foolish s'occupe d'une petite structure (Tools Records) permettant d'organiser quelques concerts, de distribuer quelques CD, booker des dates, s'occuper de leur van... Diverses dates et E.P sont prévus pour 2008: The band started was formed in October 2007 as initiative of musicians of various groupes of Auvergne, e.g. Les Chombes or LFT, which already have played with well knowed bands like Burning Heads, Uncommenmenfrommars, Inner Terrestrials… etc...and which were involved in some activities in various scenes almost everywhere in France... the five members of FOOLISH only have one wish: to be on stage! The young and dynamic quintet is to find their own best mix navigating in between different styles of punk rock'n'roll and ska created by such bands like Leftover Crack, Union Jack, Rancid, The Flatliners, Against Me, Freygolo, Dirty Fonzy and much more.. Well perfect mix between Fat Wreck Chords and Hellcat Records... We are looking for gigs everywhere. We played with some cool bands: Dolores Riposte (Paris), Brain Shake (Bayonne), Dirty Fonzy (Albi), Time Bomb (Paris), Guerilla Poubelle (Paris) and much more Cheers | |
