| Lynn Tracey studied Jazz at both The Hartford Conservatory of Performing Arts and the New School University y in NYC. She studied with Joe Carter who is known for his Brazilian Jazz style. Lynn has managed and performed with several styles of bands and recently returned from a 6 month west coast tour with HannaH*s Field, a folk rock, blues and reggae trio. During her stay in Oregon, Lynn served as lead-guitarist for two local Portland bands and appeared as a guest artist at The Green Room for Renee Plant.Lynn has had the honor of performing with Nick Mathis,
Joe Carter, Walt Gwardyak, Paul Brown and Lloyd Chisholm. She has also participated in 10 CD recordings with her groups and other projects as well. Her trio, Charlie Parker’s Angels, has appeared live on WWUH in Hartford. HannaH*s Field enjoyed a 90 minute spotlight/live performance on two public television stations in Portland, Oregon this spring. In past performances, Lynn has also shared the stage with Miriam Sullivan, Francesca Tanksley, Mary Dipola Davis, Junior Ortiz and Alvin Carter Jr. and Sr.Lynn will continue to teach independently at her Guitar Star Studio. She also serves as a music therapist in nursing homes and hospitals. In addition, Lynn instructs for the Continuing Educational Services as a Beginning and Intermediate Guitar Instructor in local towns.

Music:Member Since: 30/12/2007Band Members: Lynn Tracey Project: Cat Sullivan (vocals), Brian Hartley (Bass), Jocelyn Pleasant (Drums), guest artists Lyn Ryan-Porter (Sax; Accordian). Lynn also performs with a pop/classic rock trio with HannaH and Andy and can also be seen from time to time with HannaH's Field as The Reverend of Rock. She supports her students in their quest to perform in front of live audiences as well and often will hold student concerts at local venues. Influences: Wes Montgomery, Jim Hall, Sal Salvador, Joe Carter, Walt Gwardyak, Ella Fitzgerals, Russell Malone, Herb Ellis, Charlie Byrd and somehow Jerry Garcia made it into my psyche without my knowing about it!
