| Well I am an artist working on a gazillion projects at the moment... Some big some small. I am currently working on a graphic novel that I will be posting up information and art on this thing in the upcoming months/years/decades etc etc.I think my most current accomplishment is the Captain Murphey comic strip...The comic Captain Murphey has gone through quite a few changes over the years... First it started out as little doodles I drew on Post-It notes while I was shackled to the AutoCAD desks at my last job. Soon it progressed into drawing full comic pages ninja style so my bosses wouldn't catch me.Of course I got laid off... and thats when Captain Murphey really started to pick up. I decided I was going to convert the Capt. to newspaper style strips. I ended up submitting them to as many syndicates as I could. After hearing nothing for 3 months and giving up on getting a response... I received a letter from United Feature Syndicate stating they were interested in working out some sort of publishing deal. Well that turned into 2 full years of comics. 6 strips a week for 2 years. By the time that ended I was tired, bored, exhausted and burnt out.Well months have since passed... And the comic has changed and I am ready to pursue the next incarnation of the Captain! ! | |
