| LOOK WHAT WE HAVE CREATED….a brief rundown on As Silence Breaks When the 5 of us originally decided to be in a band we thought we would just have some fun, play some shows and make a whole lotta new friends, two and a half years later look where we are. We have played with international acts, shows all over Australia, headlined festivals and written more then 30+ songs, not bad for a band who started as no ones 24months ago. We have performed in front of 7,000+ people and we have performed in front of 2 people, each time we gave everything we had so that the audience didn’t just hear some random inaudible noises but they enjoyed a show, that’s the whole drive and ambition for 'ASB', an intense show where you'll feel what we feel, you'll sing along, have a dance or just sit back and enjoy the atmosphere. As of mid 2008 we have had a brief line-up change, we obtained a new kick ass drummer in Reece (regression) and now we are powering forward into a new age, we haven’t lost site of our goals, haven’t stumbled haven't faltered, we are who we are and we want to take over the world. We will be releasing our debut E.P mid-late 2008 on the back of some solid tours. We never have and never will agree with pigeonholing bands, bands are what they are, nothing is original anymore, bands are always going to have their major influences shine through, who cares?! Screw 'metalcore' screw 'hardcore' to hell with all these other 'cores', we play music it’s heavy and emotional and that’s all that matters, don't segregate bands and people just because of some little label. Along the way we have hit a few bumps, had a few lows but we are still here and we are all proud of the accomplishments we have achieved. More then ever now we appreciate all the support everyone has given us, we can not thank you enough your kindness and positivity it always keeps our collective chin up.
