Magda Machine è un progetto nato nel 2003 da un idea di Marco,batterista molto simile a Stewart Copeland nello stile,desideroso di avvicinarsi musicalmente ad uno dei suoi miti!Ricordo la faticaccia e le sudate chiusi in un box di quell'incredibile estate,una delle più calde che si ricordino negli ultimi anni.Tra dubbi e speranze andammo avanti a testa bassa,senza farci influenzare,spinti da una passione incredibile.Soprattutto quando non riuscivamo a trovare un cantante,finchè un giorno Marco mi disse"dai prova te basso e voce come Sting sai che figata!"Mi buttai spinto da non so cosa,i primi risultati non furono molto confortanti,anche perchè per me era la prima esperienza vocale,ma piano piano presi fiducia fino alla nostra prima uscita live,niente di speciale ,ma una buona base su cui lavorare!Adesso dopo 4 anni posso dire che è stata un ottima scelta,perchè ci ha dato delle belle soddisfazioni,anche se vogliamo di più e non vogliamo fermarci.Le basi sono davvero buone,siamo un bell'incastro,legato da una forte amicizia!Germano è il chittarrista ideale,perchè è completo e poliedrico,e un grande ricercatore di suoni, molto pignolo!Siamo qui per trovare nuovi stimoli e farci un pò conoscere!Abbiamo ormai molti live alle spalle in svariati pub,locali,beach club,sagre,ma la liguria non offre molto purtroppo, in tal senso!BUON ANNO E BUONA MUSICA A TUTTI!Davide Marcenaro(basso e voce)Marco Tabacco(batteria)Germano Pitzus(chitarra)! |
