The project of "80's dreamers", was born two years ago, when Manel "Greenmanelishi" (Priesteel), Cerve (Fireland) and Toni (Break the chain), were on Iron Maiden's concert in Barcelona and spoke about it. It was the day that this idea came to them. They planned to form a band similar to "Break the Chain" project where Toni and Manel meet as a musicians. Break the chain was an 80's metal tribute. They played a lot of 80's stuff like Accept, Judas Priest, Stryper, Raven, Dio, Queensryche, Baron Rojo, Y&T, Rainbow, etc.. Toni and Manel had a lot of fun of that, and wanted to repeat it, choosing a true heavyrock classic direction and trying to avoid typical covers. This is how 80's dreamers started. The name and the logo, created by Greenmanelishi gave to this project the identity and look that it needed. The founders of 80's Dreamers, Manel, Toni and Cerve, decided to start searching for a drummer, bassist and a keyboard player. Having found a rehearsal place, they finally found the musicians: Juan (Aenima) on drums, Oscar (Wasted years) on bass, and Javi (Cristal Oscuro) on keyboards. Actually the band have a good setlist of heavyrock classics featuring Judas Priest, Accept, Iron Maiden, Quiet Riot, Motley Crüe, Saxon, Scorpions, Kiss, Dokken, Y&T, Whitesnake or Cinderella. They are now participating in Emergenza Festival 2008, winning two times at 1st position, and now are gonna play in semifinals. Actually are recording a studio demo of 4 songs, including some of their covers, all produced by Xavi Castello and Alberto Arias. "Now we're here, we're Dream Warriors ready to rock and our goal is to keep the fire burning! A big salute to metal maniacs all over the world!" 80's Dreamers BIOGRAFIA (Castellano) El proyecto de "80's dreamers", nacio hace dos años, cuando Manel "Greenmanelishi" (Priesteel), Cerve (Fireland) y Toni (Break the Chain) estaban en un concierto de Iron Maiden en Barcelona, y hablaron del tema. Ese dia fue el comienzo de esta idea. Ellos planeaban formar una banda parecida a Break the chain, que es donde Toni y Manel se conocieron como musicos. Break the chain era un tributo de metal de los 80, y tocaban bastante material ochentero de grupos como Accept, Judas Priest, Stryper, Raven, Queensryche, Baron Rojo, Dio, Y&T, Rainbow, etc.. Toni y Manel disfrutaron mucho de aquello y decidieron repetir, siguiendo una direccion firme y coherente por el heavyrock clasico y tratando de evitar los temas demasiado tipicos. Asà es como nacio 80's dreamers. El nombre y el logo, que fueron creados por Manel "Greenmanelishi", dieron al proyecto la identidad y la imagen que este necesitaba. Los fundadores de 80's Dreamers, Manel, Toni y Cerve decidieron empezar buscando bateria, bajista y teclista. Justo cuando habian encontrado un local, fueron encontrando a todos los musicos: Juan (Aenima) a la bateria, Oscar (Wasted Years) al bajo, y Javi (Cristal Oscuro) a los teclados. Actualmente el grupo cuenta ya con un buen setlist de clásicos del heavyrock de los 80 de bandas como Judas Priest, Accept, Iron Maiden, Quiet Riot, Motley Crüe, Saxon, Scorpions, Kiss, Dokken, Y&T, Whitesnake o Cinderella, entre otros. La banda esta participando ultimamente en el Emergenza Festival 2008, ganando dos veces consecutivas con el primer puesto, y ahora esta a punto de participar en las semifinales. Actualmente, 80's Dreamers estan grabando una demo de cuatro canciones en estudio, incluyendo algunas de sus versiones. El trabajo de produccion de esta demo, se llevara a cabo por los productores Xavi Castelló y Alberto Arias.
