The concept is simple. No stress. No bounderies. All good times.Skoolyard is a full throttle musical experience that will bring a smile to your face and get your booty movin.Skoolyard started when my good friend Raul and I where talking about putting together a weekly opener for The Collective Consciousness on Tuesday nights at The Bitter End Pub. So we called our friends together and scrambled for drummers and within one week Skoolyard was formed. When The Collective left the Tuesday slot, Skoolyard was moved to Wednesday nights at The Bitter End Pub and then Thursday nights. And the rest is history. We rocked the Bitter for two years and ended our gig there in Aug 07.We then rocked every other Thursday at the The Thirsty Lion Pub(2nd and Ash) downtown through to Jan 09. Skoolyard now plays select shows around Portland and the Northwest. So come down sometime and hang with us if you get a chance.
