| Charlemagne is the hottest up and coming rapper from St. Louis with a rapid growing number of fans. Charlemagne, meaning Charles the Great grew up in Saint Louis City and attended Patrick Henry Elementary School where he started thinking about writing poetry. Later he moved to other areas in and around St. Louis including Pacific MO. There he started to change his poetry writing into Raps. From them on he actively practiced his passion with freestyles and battle raps wherever he lived. Progressing further he wanted to hear himself on a tape and learned how to record himself from a computer and microphone he set up in his kitchen. With drive and determination he quickly changed to CD recording and upgraded his equipment and built a studio. With his writing and production advancing he started his own name for his work calling it Double Vision Entertainment.
Charles Cantrell, known as Charlemagne, has been building a fan base around the country and does collaborations with other artists. He also records new artists for a small fee.
With his popularity growing, his natural talent of relating to his fans and delivering real life in his music, he will ultimately change the reputation of rap.
