Click here to make your own!Wil Greenstreet has been playing music for 50 years, first as a famous rhythm and blues guitar player in Australia in the 1960’s and 70’s (aka Billy Green): he played lead guitar in one of the top bands in Australia, ’Doug Parkinson in Focus’. To see what that band looked and sounded like in 1970 go to: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ABb4Uzg8Qac Here the group is playing one of Wil’s compositions: ’Then I Run’. In the early 70’s he also wrote the music for the cult movie, Stone. In 1975 he began transforming himself into a world-class jazz alto sax player and composer. He led a number of original jazz funk, acid jazz, and free jazz bands in Austin, Texas, for 10 years, introducing jam band music to the Austin scene. Since 2001 he has lived in Rockland County, New York, where he teaches, composes, and currently plays solo sax three nights a week (Thu, Fri & Sat form 10:00pm till 1:00am) on the 86th floor Observatory Deck (outside) of the Empire State Building.
