View The Ruling Party's EPK 2008 has gotten on to a great start. Straight off of Alicia Key's European "As I Am" Tour, The Ruling Party is poised for a great year of new music, touring and meeting new fans the world over. Established in 2005 by Jen Sencion (vocals) from NYC and Steve Mostyn (bass) from Sydney, Australia, The Ruling Party has been busy creating a buzz in the New York underground club scene. For the first half of 2006, the band was busy writing, recording, and exposing their unique sound to local audiences. The band's original material was met with great reviews, so they've decided to revisit the studio to write, record, and release new tracks to add to their powerful collection of songs. The Ruling Party has also been a spotlight artist in September 2007's edition of German Rolling Stone magazine. They were also invited to the studios of the nationally televised indie rock show, Fearless Music. Their live performance included several of their signature tunes - No Place To Hide, If We Had Yesterday and Now You Know.
