| Growing Ears On Mice (GEOM) is a loosely based studio band which came together in 1999. Sean Murphy on guitar, sings and plays drums and other miscellaneous equipment. Rich Norris on bass guitar and occasional keyboard. Tom Norris singer, drums and percussion and keyboards. The philosophy - do not take ourselves too serious and have fun! The result is what you get. After playing in basements, kitchens and porches for 2 years, GEOM had the good fortune of obtaining The Cage in 2001. A bomb shelter/music studio the Cage once housed the local heavy metal band Phantom Crew. In August of 01', they moved in. The Cage, located in downtown Indiana, PA. in the middle of the college bar scene, quickly became a popular party place for the groups friends and wandering drunks. By 2004, the small, crazy, spur of the moment recording sessions between GEOM became fewer and fewer as the open stage and the cover bands kept the crowd stoked with familiar favorites. Between it all, GEOM would occasionally sneak into The Cage and attempt recordings, and a few more songs were created, but the time for original recordings diminished. Who knows what the future holds for Growing Ears On Mice, but one thing is for certain more music will be made. We are currently working on several new original songs, some remixed "old" originals and a few cover songs. All will be available here on our myspace page so stay tuned...
