| Paolo Jacopino nasce a Genova nel 1964.
Inizia a suonare la chitarra all’età di 10 anni come autodidatta.
In seguito intraprende gli studi classici sotto la guida del
Maestro ed amico Maurizio Oddone, completando il corso di studi fino al V° anno di conservatorio.
Successivamente si interessa al mondo della musica jazz, attratto in maniera particolare dall’aspetto armonico.
Inizia quindi un percorso verso le Open Tunes. Specificatamente
l’accordatura Dadgad di stampo celtico.
Le sue composizioni, sia standard che open, tendono ad avere un linguaggio personale. ENGLISH VERSION. Paolo Jacopino was born on 1964, in Genoa, Italy. He began learning play guitar when he was 10, like self-taught person. Afterwards, he devoted one’s time to studying classic music under the supervision of the Maestro and friend Maurizio Oddone. For five Years. In the following years he accosted to Jazz’s music, attracted in a special way, by the harmonic aspect.Then he started to study Open Tunes, in details DADGAD Celtic tuning. His compositions both standard and open have a personal language. |
