| "Formed from the remnants of Atlanta band The Blind Swimmers, Ars Nova features sparse acoustics, unconventional harmonies and an anti-folk aesthetic."
- Flagpole Athens - So there was a band, not so long ago, known as The Blind Swimmers (www.myspace.com/theblindswimmers). After the band split up, I, John Cathey was left alone; a lonely music student out at Truett-McConnell college. Then, suddenly one night I found myself jamming with two of my good friends, out on a rock under the stars, in the back yard of another of my friends house. I knew then that something had to come together. Through slight line up changes, and a little of this and that, "the" Ars Nova was born (use of quotations on "the" copyright Shaun Hughes 2007).
