MEET THE WILDLIFE S.O.S FOUNDERS: Kartick and Geeta (photo with rescued bears) Wildlife SOS, is a registered non-profit charity in both India and the USA. We runs 5 sanctuaries in different regions of India, where 400 rescued dancing bears live.Our goal is to have all of the bears rescued from the streets of by 2010.There is an estimated 400 bears still on the streets, waiting for their turn to be saved.Our success is attributed to working with the people who once danced the bears on the streets to help them find an alternative means to provide for their family.As the organization grows, we have expanded are focuses to include Elephant Conservation, Habitat Conservation, Tribal Rehabilitation, Bird Rescue, Reptile Protection, and educational programs.
