| Lenins Landlords sprouted like most bands through boredom. Ramy, Leo and Tony started having jam sessions and fiddling through a punk and ska sound. Ben was asked to take over on vocals and Nick and Mike D would be our horns. Before long the band had a few songs to their name but nothing to call the band. A feverish debate issued until Ben suggested the name Lenins Landlords and no one could resist. Shortly after Mike D had to step out of the band because of other bands he was in. And the band had a set line up with Ben (vocals) Ramy (drums) Leo (guitar) Tony (bass) and Nick (trumpet). Lenins Landlords started playing shows around LA with many great bands, made good friends, sweet/sexy music, but now the members have sprouted to other projects.
