| Hi, I'm Doc Holiday, aka Stef Sinhave. I live in Tervuren, Belgium, with my dear An and our lovely little princess Indra. I play drums and also work @ 'De Ark', an institution that works with mentally disabled people.
I've been playing drums for the following bands : Sons Of Jonathas, Massif, Feed, Faast Orange, Lethal Impact, and some studio-projects.
At present I play drums for Damn Your Idols. My musical career started with Lethal Impact with who I recorded a demo at Hautregardstudio, produced by André Gielen.Then my friend Xavier Carion, guitarist of Channel Zero at that time, asked me to join Faast Orange, a project he started for his wife, Juliet Coi. We recorded a cd, again with André Gielen, called "Source". The other Faast Orange- guitarist Peter Iterbeke asked me to play on the demo of his band, Feed. It went very well, I liked their music and joined them. We recorded a cd, mixed by Tony Platt (AC/DC, Foreigner,...), but unfortunately the thing never came out! I decided to quit the music business, we were in 1994 then. I started a whole new life, met my girlfriend, we bought a house and I had a kid with her. Xavier Carion had his studio in the meanwhile and from time to time he asked me to play as a sessionist, like with Downer, Massif, Juliet, Sumo, Arkaïa, ... . Then one day, Xavier phones me. "Hey Doc, I feel like playing some old school - shit. Interested?" Of course I was, and Sons Of Jonathas was born. After only a few rehearsals, we recorded "The Death Dealer". That's why it's sounding so spontanious and fresh.After that, I joined Damn your Idols, with who I recorded a cd in the beginning of 2008. The cd will be released on the 16th of May 2008. Music:I grew up with bands like Kiss,AC/DC and Iron Maiden of course . Later on I discovered Celtic Frost, I was really crazy about their 3 first albums.During the 80's & 90's, I was into Slayer, Forbidden, Testament, and the first 4 Metallica -albums. Another album that needs to be mentioned here, is The Aphrodite's child- "666". That album is amazing! These days I listen to Melvins, Soil, Fantômas, Soilwork, Godsmack,Solace, Sevendust, ... . |
