| Well I use to go by Dj Syze or Joanna Syze, but these days much of the music madness seems to have been left behind me. If you want to know more about my past please read my bio in the blog section. I am currently a full time college student working towards my undergraduate in Sociology. So why the big change? The truth is, after 9 years in the DnB scene I simply grew tired of the politics, drama and inconsistency with poor business behaviour in other people. Long gone are the days where we could just go out to play a music we loved. Seems all the scene has turned to is another, who's who and who can we back stab today to get what we want. I guess you could say I got burned out, and at almost 27 its time for me to move on and work on building a future with my boyfriend! I've been putting my efforts in helping children developmentally, giving my time to those that need it and working towards helping orphans in Bulgaria and online volunteering for UNICEF. I enjoy the bland daily rituals of going to bed at a normal time, eating organic, taking weekend trips to the nature spots in our state and so on. While I am extremely thankful for all of the love and support I have received over the years from wonderful and amazing people, we must all at one point or another choose a path to take when one seems to have reached its end. Aside from the many fun things Ive gotten into, I still absolutely love to travel and do as much of it as possible, my hunger and need to see the world is something I will never let escape me. David and I are still in love, I have an amazing boyfriend who lights up my days, and I am forever amazed at his extreme talent as an artist. With all this said, my goal is to step away from music and more into the area of humanitarian work and furthering my education.
