Krista is a Canadian born vocalist from Calgary Alberta, Canada. She has been singing and entertaining since the early age of 11. Now, at 17, Krista has come into her own developing her powerful raw vocals from just a few years ago into magnificent melodies. Over the past few years she has competed in various competitions taking her all over the USA and Canada including New York, Las Vegas, Florida, Edmonton, Calgary, Toronto and most recently Hollywood California. Krista was chosen to attend the World Championships of Performing Arts In Hollywood California where she competed against talent from fifty different countries. Her vocal talents astonished audiences and captivated judges alike. She went on to take home one gold and four silver metals while outshining hundreds of other talented vocalists. As a result of the competition, Krista was discovered by Marc MDoc Williams (Madonna, Janet Jackson, K-Ci and JOjO, Twista) an accomplished music exec and record producer from Indasoul Entertainment. Together, Krista and “MDoc” have created a refreshing sound utilizing a mix of catchy pop tunes with R&B and hip-hop influences. Now that Krista is preparing to launch her new music for all to hear, with a vocal range that sends powerful notes soaring into the stratosphere, we’re sure this will be the direction of this songbird’s entire career.
