But since I know yall wanna read names, SOME of my influences include, Big Pun, Lauryn Hill, Nas, Jay-Z, Wu Tang Clan, The Lox, Mos Def and Talib Qweli. There are more but I can't name em all or it'll take up the whole damn page..lol.. Anyways, I think I get my musical talent from my father who loved to throw salsa jam sessions in the basement of his building. He played the congas, bongos, timbales, electric organ, drums, guiro, and I always kept the heartbeat goin with the cowbell. My moms was a typical Puerto Rican chick blastin freestyle music like "Tell it to my heart", Salsa like La India's "Dicen Que Soy" and El Gran Combo's "Ojos Chinitas" and "Tu Me Hiciste Brujeria." Not to mention all the early hip hop gettin burn like Sugar Hill Gang's, "Rapper's Delight" and "White Lines" by Grand Master Flash. Thas what I was around growin up and what molded my style today....
