| I first started life in the early to mid 1980s (well, much much earlier than that actually, otherwise I'd be singing when I was a year old or something, and that would be rather silly) singing in various Country and Western clubs up and down the country, with such notables accompanying me as Carlo "Slasher" Little on drums, Nick Simper on bass and many others whose names escape me, partly because it's been a while now. Apart from a 5-year sabbatical, I've been singing with Slim's Cyderco for it must be about 20 years. In that time I've been lucky enough to work with the likes of Boz Boorer, who's produced some stuff we've done with Slim, and accompanied me on practically every instrument but the drums with my occasional band, Chrissie and the Crackerjacks.Apart from singing, I also love keeping fit, and I've just qualified as a fitness instructor. So, if there are any artists out there who want a super fit body full of energy and good health, hire me!! I love the idea of helping people achieve their dream of getting their bodies back in shape. Every now and then, you'll see a bulletin posted by me, giving you little tips and gems on anything really, from slimming tips, household tips, diet and nutrition....anything! I love reading about new research and good old-fashioned herbal and alternative remedies.Back on the subject of music, we'll hopefully pretty soon be recording some new stuff at Boz's fantastic studio up in the mountains of Portugal's beautiful Algarve - Serra Vista Studio. You'll be totally inspired by the breathtaking views up there! It's so gorgeous in fact, that I even bought my own little house not too far away from the studio and Boz and Lyn's lovely house.Oh, and one more thing; I want to say a big thank you to Mary Costello for giving me and the boys lots of airplay on GLR in the past, and for letting me loose on her jingles for her shows. What a laugh that was!!
